A Friend

This is a good friend of mine that is trying to break into the music industry. He is doing a mini tour through North and South Carolina in May and we took these photos on Sunday (along with 250 others) to update his myspace page. I hope the tour goes wonderfully!!

The Senior

My cousin Kaitlin is graduating high school in May and I took some senior type photos of her at a family gathering this past weekend. As much as I love the classiness of black and white, I will try to share some color photos soon. She has beautiful natural red highlights in her hair and I also painted a chair bright blue that we used, and I want to show.

Hands On- I Heart Faces

These are the hands of my 81 year old grandfather, resting on his Bible. Each wrinkle, line, and crease are a record of a life well lived. I am glad I have this photo!!

All in the details

I truly have a thing for hand and feet pictures. I think sometimes the sweet details get overlooked. Since I featured sweet baby feet last week, this week it is hands. From the hands of a six week old baby to an 80 year old man...the first unscarred and full of possibility of all that they have yet to do and the second telling the story of a life well lived as his hands rest on his Bible.
