My second entry is also another favorite spontaneous shot. This is my grandmother during the national anthem during a summer concert on our town square. She had no idea I took it and I love it!!

Picture Perfect #1

I'm posting on my poor neglected blog to enter the picture perfect contest for the month of June. When I saw the theme was black and white I immediately knew what two pictures I would choose. My first entry is of my cousin's daughter. This was totally spontaneous- she was sitting across from me on a picnic table and just laid her head down. One of my favorite pictures I have taken!!

Falling into Fall

So I LOVE fall...the gorgeous leaves, pumpkins, apples, crisp weather and after the sweltering summer we've had, I am so ready to embrace it. I am so thankful to live in the South where we have actual seasons. There are just a few of the leaves I captured last fall. I am linking up with This Blessed Nest's fall festival!!

My church hosted Vacation Bible School last week and I was fortunate to help in a sweet kindergarten class. There were 20 kids in the class, but they were all so sweet and SO well behaved (beyond normal 5 year old energy!!). Here are a couple of sweet girls,McKinley and Emma, in my class enjoying slushies at snack time.

Passionate Joy

I follow a sweet blog called Kellys Korner and each week she hosts a "Show Us Your Life Friday" and this week the topic is baby names, which I LOVE!! So I'm participating.

My first girl will be Reese Joy. Reese means things like fiery, passionate, enthusiastic" and I think it would be so sweet to have my little girl's name mean passionate joy. Also, I pray her life is filled with joy and I know she will be a source of joy to me when the time comes!!

I also like Chloe Lane (Lane is my dad and brother's middle name) and Eden Claire or Eden Lane.

Springtime sweetie

I did a photo shoot a couple weeks ago for my youth leader and his family. This is their 6 year old daughter Emma. I rocked her all the time as a baby in the church nursery, so its hard to believe she is 6.

Two Little Cuties

I met our church youth leader and his sweet family for a photo session on the town square. Six year old Emma and I have been buds since she was an itsy bitsy sleeping in my lap in the church nursery. Love her!! Three year old Jack is the cutest little guy!!
